The Katowice Special Economic Zone is a specially designated area where investors may run a business on preferential terms in the form of income tax reliefs.<\/p>\n
The aim of creation of Special Economic Zones is to speed up economic growth of chosen areas in the country. The Katowice Zone is one of the 14 Zones in Poland and it lies in the Silesian, Opole and Ma\u0142opolskie voivodeships. One of its sites is the so-called Southern Field of the area of 77ha in the K\u0119dzierzyn-Ko\u017ale commune, with good transport links and access to technical infrastructure. The site has been prepared for business entities by the K\u0119dzierzyn-Ko\u017ale Industrial Park. When realising projects there, investors may expect tax reliefs of even 50-70% of the investment costs.<\/p>\n
